BSARC New Ham Info

New Ham Info

Welcoming new hams is essential to meeting our purpose of promoting amateur radio in the Blue Springs and Eastern Jackson County area. We have hams with significant experience in many areas of amateur radio including:

  • Emergency Communications
  • CW (Continuous Wave, or Morse Code)
  • Digital Modes (Fldigi, WinLink, FT8, JS8Call, and more)
  • DX Communications (Long Distance)
  • General Electronics
  • Amateur related software on Windows, Linux, and Mobile platforms

We are excited to help you learn about amateur radio and get on the air! BSARC welcomes your questions and aims to be your guide to the world of ham radio.
